| Note to all my visiters- I have decided for the time being to the shut the site down. Here's the run down why... While i've finally had a good deal of interest in doing some updates there are some issues my that right now will prevent me from doing so. First off there are some things going on in life right now that are going to prevent me from doing any updates. Second, I had a server crash in which I lost the entire site, while i've been able to download a back-up from www.archive.org but it's been very time consuming. Third, since I last did updates in early 2002, I now rather have only good high-quality photos, rather than as many photos as possible. That mean after I finish downloading entire site file by file I'm going to have go thru and filter out the crappy photos (no matter how many photos I have to remove). On a positve note i'd like to note that even though I stopped updating the site that I never stopped taking photos. I'm thinking of relaunching the site on it's 9th birthday on April 3rd, 2006, but I still can't be for sure when. What I do know is when the site goes live again that you can expect new and better things that will make Alex's Place the best damn roller coaster site on the internet! |
